The Learning Centre successfully organized an offline workshop on HBP Simulation to introduce participants to the experiential learning capabilities offered by Harvard Business Publishing Education simulations. The session brought together faculty members, associates, scholars, and academic professionals to explore innovative approaches to teaching and learning through interactive business decision-making environments.
Business simulations have increasingly become an important component of management education, enabling learners to bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and real-world application. Through the workshop, participants were provided with firsthand exposure to how simulations can create engaging classroom experiences by placing learners in realistic business scenarios involving strategy, finance, marketing, leadership, operations, entrepreneurship, and supply chain management.
The workshop featured a live simulation experience where participants stepped into the role of students and engaged in simulation-based decision-making exercises. This hands-on approach helped attendees understand the dynamics of experiential learning and the impact of simulations on learner engagement, critical thinking, collaboration, and strategic decision-making.
The session also focused on best practices for facilitating simulation-based learning, addressing common challenges during classroom implementation, and maximizing the academic impact of simulation exercises within management courses.
