IIM Indore Learning Centre (LC).
The IIM Indore Learning Centre, known as the IIM Indore Learning Centre (LC), is a vibrant hub of academic excellence and intellectual engagement. As a creative and strategic partner in teaching, learning, and research, the LC plays a pivotal role in fulfilling the institute’s mission to be a contextually relevant business school with world-class academic standards. It supports the development of socially conscious managers, leaders, and entrepreneurs.
The LC offers a modern and hybrid environment, integrating both traditional and digital resources. Its expansive collection encompasses books, print journals, magazines, e-journals, e-books, and a broad array of online databases. These resources are readily accessible through the institute’s network and Wi-Fi, ensuring seamless access to information.
Spread across 27,000 square feet, the centrally air-conditioned LC building features thoughtfully designated sections, creating an ideal ambiance for reading, research, and reflection. With state-of-the-art technological applications, the LC houses knowledge resources predominantly related to business management and allied subjects. The Learning Centre is an active member of IIM Consortia, CARMA, and DELNET.
In essence, the IIM Indore Learning Centre stands as a cornerstone of academic support, innovation, and intellectual growth within the campus.

Indian Language Section
- In the academic year 2021-22, an “Indian Language Section” was conceived and established by Prof. Himanshu Rai – Director, IIM Indore.
- The section aims to offer books written in various regional languages and encourage the community to learn and read literature belonging to various Indian languages.
Currently, the section has around 2000 books in many languages:
International Language Section
- In the academic year 2023-24, an “International Languages Section” was conceived and established by Prof. Himanshu Rai – Director, IIM Indore.
- The section reaffirms the institute’s commitment to promoting inclusivity and cultural exchange.
- The collection ranges from fiction to poetry, novels to history, and reflects our dedication to providing resources that enrich the minds of our students and faculty alike.

Digital Wall Displays
The Learning Centre at IIM Indore features strategically placed Digital Wall Displays that serve as dynamic information hubs, designed to engage and inform users about a range of academic, institutional, and cultural content. These displays are updated regularly and categorized into distinct thematic zones to provide relevant and timely information to the IIMI community.
Research Corner
The Research Corner showcases the vibrant research culture of IIM Indore. It highlights:
- Faculty research publications in reputed journals
- Students’ research contributions
- Achievements and accolades earned by researchers
- Information on research events, awards, and collaborations
Statistics Info
The Statistics Info is dedicated to promoting awareness of statistics and usage of the Learning Centre’s vast offerings. It includes:
- Highlights of new arrivals (books, journals, databases)
- Updates on subscribed e-resources and services
- Information about Learning Centre events, demonstrations, and training sessions
- Guidance on accessing remote services, discovery tools, and self-help resources
Jnanodaya
As part of cultural enrichment, the Jnanodaya display features selected slokas from the Bhagavad Gita, presented with interpretations and meanings. This initiative brings spiritual wisdom into the learning environment, encouraging reflection, mindfulness, and ethical thinking among users.
Centrally Located Across the Learning Centre
These digital displays are strategically positioned throughout the Learning Centre premises and form an integral part of the Centre’s communication, outreach, and engagement strategy.
