User Orientation / Training
The Learning Centre (LC) at IIM Indore is committed to empowering its user community through regular Information Literacy and Orientation Programmes. These sessions are designed to help users make the most of the rich collection of resources, services, and tools available through the Learning Centre.
Information Literacy Programmes: Conducted at regular intervals for patterns to familiarize them with Learning Centre systems, services, collections, and research tools.
E-Resource Training Sessions: Specialized workshops and demonstrations are organized on the use of subscribed electronic resources, including databases, journals, company information platforms, and research tools like Turnitin, Grammarly, and SciSpace.
Hands-On Guidance: Users are introduced to effective search strategies, citation practices, plagiarism detection tools, and remote access services to support academic and research excellence.
These initiatives aim to enhance information-seeking skills, promote ethical use of information, and ensure that users can efficiently navigate and utilize the Learning Centre vast physical and digital resources.
